Stryker Evacuation Chair

The Evacuation Chair by Stryker is their latest emergency evacuation solution.

Able to transport and evacuate occupants weighing up to 226 kilograms (35 stone or 500lb), the Evac Chair allows two people to transport mobility-impaired, injured or disabled individuals down staircases and obstacles with ease, enabling evacuation in emergency situations.

The chair is equipped with Strker's patented 'Stair-TREAD' system, which assists a single user in descending stairs easily with an occupant on board, weighing up to 90 kilograms (14 stone or 200lb).

Both the lower and upper handles on the chair extend to support proper lifting technique whilst minimising strain to the user, especially when lifting the chair over potential hazards and obstacles on the way to safety.

The Evacuation chair has also been designed to be as compact as possible, to maximise mobility where space is limited, and to be as compact as possible for more convenient storage.
